Lucky Horse Press offers a range of handcrafted cards that combine eco‑friendly materials with high‑quality printing. Below, we break down the key factors to consider and highlight two standout designs.
Key Factors When Choosing a Personalized Birthday Card
Design aesthetic matters most: a classic floral pattern works well for elegant celebrations, while playful graphics suit a fun‑loving crowd. Look at the printing method—letterpress gives a raised, tactile impression, whereas screen printing delivers vivid, flat colors.
Material and sustainability are also important. Cards printed on 100 lb recycled cover provide sturdiness and an eco‑friendly profile. Size matters for mailing; a folded 4.25" × 5.5" format fits standard envelopes and feels substantial in hand.
- Match the recipient’s personality with the card’s artwork.
- Choose letterpress for a raised texture, screen printing for bold color.
- Prioritize recycled 100 lb cardstock for durability and sustainability.
Decision Rules for Selecting Your Card
- Design Aesthetic: Choose floral or classic designs for formal events; opt for playful graphics like piñatas for casual, fun celebrations. Align artwork with the birthday person's taste.
- Printing Technique: Letterpress offers tactile depth; screen printing provides vivid, flat color. Pick the technique that best matches the desired visual impact.
- Material Sustainability: All featured cards use 100 lb recycled cardstock for durability and eco‑friendliness. Feel good about the environmental footprint of your card.
